This blog relates to a lady from Catalonia who has entered in a strange and unique relationship.She happens to be the only person who established a very close and intimate relationship with the blogger, turnrd into a worst foe.This aboutturn is a very interesting story.I shall unfold this story after observing the interest of there public.
Today I consulted the wikipedia about the history of Spain with particular reference to Catalonia.It was quite revealing that uphill 2008,economic situation was very bright in Spain and Barcelona being the port central to North Africa and to other European places of trade and commerce,it had a flourishing economy in the entire Euro zone.This is further indicated by huge influx of foreign settlers from across the affluent northern and central Europe.However,influx of poor nationalities also contributed to the rapid population rise in this area.Clandestine immigration from Africa added more pressure on the economy.
As the European economic crisis deepened & bigger banks faced the sub prime crisis like those occurring in the USA,credit squeeze resulted in abrupt fall in bank lensings and defaults by the creditors.
There was a very sharp downward trend in the unemployment situation.It reached unto 50% in some of the southern part of the entire country.This naturally put more pressure on the exchequer as well as the industry in general.The real Estate crashed and people were forcibly evicted from their homes.There were cases of clashes,civil disobedient movements and human rights violation on large scale.People committed suicides and even the border areas became attraction of flesh trade.Although,it was prohibited by law,Police looked the other way and the oldest trade known to mankind flourished.The cause of it's proliferation has been also the absence of any religious control.45% of the population is Catholic,but seldom go to churches.There are atheist and few other religions to keep the morale of the suffering population high.
Spanish language is spoken by almost 500 million people across the world,second popular language in the west.The colonial riches and mental make up made the difference in living standards very wide.It is said that the day stars at 12.30 PM and ends at 06.30AM.in Madrid & Barcelona.
One can,therefore,easily understand the plight of the working class and their revolt.
